The 11th CAIRO ICT Exhibition is an international event in which the latest technologies:Telecommunication, Information, Networking, Computing & Broadcast Technology are show cased. It was held under the auspices of H.E. Dr. Tarek Kamel, Minister of Communication and Information Technology .
Cairo ICT is Trade Fair & Forum for both the Arab World & North Africa. It convened from 4 to 7 February at the Cairo International Conferences Center.
The trade fair and forum were held this year under the slogan 'The Shape of Things to come’. The Exhibition was officially sponsored by Telecom Egypt. Etisalat-Egypt is also the event's platinum sponsor, while ITIDA in addition to other 20 international and Egyptian companies are main sponsors and supporters of Cairo ICT 2007.
The Cairo ICT exhibition was an opportunity for all parties interested in ICT development to gather and discuss relevant issues. The exhibition enabled the attendants, not only to review the relevant issues but also to discuss various matters related to development.
The National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) participated by taking part in four hearing sessions held in the NTRA booth. These were:

Dr. Amr Badawi, NTRA’s Executive President delivered a speech, the second day of the Exhibition.
In this year’s event, the exhibitors' growth rate is 25%, and where the participation of international corporations had extended by 11%, Cairo ICT seeks to jump unto a new phase opening up new horizons for effective presence on the international exhibitions stage.
