Egypt, represented by the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA), participates in the Communications Policy and Regulation Week 2017 (CPR Week), organized by the International Institute of Communications (IIC), on October 9-12, in Brussels, Belgium.
CPR Week aims at discussing the most significant regulatory issues in the ICT sector, gathering up telecom regulators from more than 70 countries around the world. The event provides regulators from different regions and areas of specialization with an opportunity to keep pace with modern technology and understand industry and society needs for policy tracks. It also provides unique insights into developing markets and emerging trends in different geographical regions and sectors.
The event will discuss a number of relevant topics, including closing the digital exclusion gap, building trust in the evolving digital ecosystem, moving to dynamic regulation, enabling the digital economy, tackling mega-trends in regulation and policy.
NTRA participation in this event is significant since it gathers up senior officials and leaders of the ICT sector from around the world, which will provide a great opportunity for exchanging views and experiences, as well as holding bilateral meetings and fostering international relations.
