Egypt participates in OIC-CERT ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2017in Azerbaijan

Egypt, represented by NTRA's Egyptian Computer EmergencyReadiness Center (EG-CERT) will participate in the  ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2017of the Computer Emergency Response Team  under the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC-CERT) which will be held in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan in the period from 6 to 9 November 2017  in order to keep abreast of the latest developments in cybersecurity, and follow up on the latest state-of-the-art advancements in cyber attacks. The participation in these esteemed events boosts relations with international relevant entities and bodies. On the sidelines of the conference, a workshop will be held to discuss the latest improvements in this field, hence boosting multilateral participation in the exchange of information and regional communication to develop security at the regional and international levels.

The OIC's Computer Emergency Response Team (OIC-CERT) (OIC-CERT) is one of the most significant international organizations concerned with cyber attacks as Egypt is considered a vital and effective member of the Organization and its Steering Committee for the mandates it undertakes as it efficiently involved in the management of the Organization, which comprises 19 member states in addition to Egypt's membership in the steering committee. It is worth mentioning that Since 2012, the Egyptian Computer EmergencyReadiness Center (EG-CERT) has been providing support to many players in the ICT, banking and governmental sectors to help them face cybersecurity threats on top of which come the Denial-of-service (DoS) attacks.
