One of NTRA’s top priorities is to provide high-quality manpower equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills and state-of-the-art training. To achieve this, the authority recruits qualified staff with diverse specializations in various fields, such as telecom engineering, computer sciences and information technology, financial administration and economic research. Cohesive training plans are continually being developed to prepare the right personnel to implement the authority’s ambitious plans.
NTRA currently has 295 employees, including engineering, political, commercial, legal and technical professionals, as well as support staff and drivers.
It is anticipated that the growth of the telecom sector will require parallel growth in NTRA, and a capacity-building plan has thus been devised with the target of increasing the authority’s work force.
