Conditions & Regulations for Wireless Equipment supply and trade
1- The license is to be renewed 3 months before its termination, and after paying the fees. It will be deemed invalid if it is terminated without being renewed before termination.
2- The equipment get clearance issued by the National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA) after going through all the procedures required for clearance and paying fees and not by virtue of the license.
3- It is not permissible to get clearance by virtue of this license.
4- The licensee has to open a record in order to register the movement of the imported and locally manufactured equipment and keep this record in the locations where he offers and stores the equipment. This record should be approved by the NTRA and the licensee has to register therein all the imported and locally manufactured and sold equipment and attach herewith copies of the following documents:
• The clearance approved by the NTRA.
• Validity certificate of the locally manufactured equipment issued by Standardization Authority.
• The sale invoice.
• The license of the buyer’s use of the equipment.
5- The licensee has to open a record in the usage and maintenance centres of the wireless equipment he is dealing with and get an approval from the NTRA. The equipment sent to maintenance centres is to be registered (by virtue of valid licenses) and the equipment should be delivered directly to the user after doing all works of maintenance.
6- The NTRA is authorized to inspect the equipment and review the documents to ensure the implementation of license conditions. The licensee should facilitate the mission of the inspectors without interfering in their work or delaying it.
7- It is not permissible for the licensee to modify technical specifications, add frequencies to the licensed equipment or increase the output power when programming the equipment except after getting a license from the NTRA.
8- The licensee should notify the NTRA of any change or modification to the company’s legal entity within 15 days from date of change or modification.
9- The NTRA is authorized to add other conditions to the license during its validity. The licensee has to conciliate immediately after getting a notification and he has to send to the NTRA all information related to the equipment without delay.
10- The NTRA is authorized to nullify the license without stating reasons and in case the licensee violates any of the licensing conditions.
11- The provisions of telecom law no. 10 for the year 2003 concerning telecommunications and the ministerial decree no. 258 concerning wireless equipment usage apply to this declaration.
12- These conditions are regarded an inseparable part of this license and complementary thereto.
