The World Radiocommunication Conference 2007 (WRC-07) will be held in the period from 22 October to 16 November 2007 in Geneva. The Radiocommunication Assembly 2007 (RA-07) will convene in the period from 15 October to 19 October 2007 to discuss the election of the Chairman of the Conference and the heads of the study groups in addition to the discussion of some items of the agenda.

The World Radiocommunication Conference 2007 (WRC-07) will be then held in the period from 22 October to 16 November 2007 in Geneva. It will end with the Conference Preparatory Meeting (CPM 11-1) for the World Radiocommunication Conference 2011 (WRC-11) in the period from 19 November 2007 to 20 November 2007.

The World Radiocommunication Conference is considered one of the most significant conferences of the ITU. It discusses a number of issues related to frequency spectrum in addition to the procedures and frequency usage regulations in light of modern technologies.

       The NTRA’s Frequency Spectrum Sector has prepared a number of contributions and studies on all the items of the Conference Agenda as they reflect the Egyptian viewpoint concerning issues related to frequency spectrum.

       Eng. Salah El-Wardany, the Senior Advisor to NTRA’s Executive President for Strategic Planning and Supervisor of the Frequency Spectrum Sector, will head the NTRA’s delegation that will participate in the WRC-07 proceedings.
