| The Award of Licenses for the Construction, Possession & Leasing Of Wireless Communication towers |
| The National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA) has announced the award of licenses for the construction and possession of the infrastructure of sites or towers as installations or antennae (other than telecom equipment) for leasing it as per the coverage areas required for operation to more than one operator (and service provider of mobile and wireless services).

| Three Egyptian Companies Selected for Domain Name Registration Services under the Arabic Country Code Top Level Domain of Egypt “.مصر” |
| Three Egyptian companies have been selected, to be granted a domain name registration license, namely: TE Data, InTouch (owner of Link) and Vodafone Data. This step will enable all users to register domain names in Arabic through any of the selected companies. |

| Within the framework of the keenness of National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) to activate the provisions of Telecom Regulation Law No. 10/ 2003 and continue carrying out its mandate to supervise, regulate and support the telecom sector in compliance with the protection of free competition, investments and customers' rights, and pursuant to the provisions of articles (2/4), (5/6), (13/7), (18/2), (25/7) and (19) of the said Law with regard to the NTRA's competence to take all the necessary actions for the protection of telecom services users. This takes place through setting up the rules that ensure such protection as setting up such rules is considered part and parcel of the NTRA's core mandate. |
