Inmarsat Service license

 NTRA has issued a license to Inmarsat Company as Inmarsat service provider, and that as essential step toward regulatory framework to provide Inmarsat service in Arab republic of Egypt.

NTRA issued licenses for Inmarsat service to end users through companies interested to acquire license to provide Inmarsat service providers according to the following conditions and rules:

• The licensee company should be registered in Arab republic of Egypt.

• The licensee shall provide the services with same standards to end users regardless to their location in Egypt

• The licensee is obliged to provide only the services stated in the license.

• The licensee shouldn’t provide any voice services using VOIP protocol.

• The Licensee should provide the service within 3 months from the date of singing the license and with the approved fee.

• The licensee should sign interconnection agreement with Inmarsat or Inmarsat world wide distributors and should include technical and financial terms to allow the licensee to provide the service. The licensee should provide copies of the contracts to NTRA.

• The licensee should pay the license annual fee plus the equipment fee.

• All equipment to end users should have type approval from the NTRA.

• The licensee should comply with the general conditions that NTRA stipulate.
