In line with the directives of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, to take the necessary measures to ensure the quality of telecommunications services during the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum on Saturday, November 1st, the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) continues its efforts to guarantee the readiness of the telecommunications infrastructure in a manner befitting this major global event.

In this context, the NTRA has supported and coordinated the telecommunications network operations within the museum’s premises, in cooperation with mobile service operators. The Authority has also conducted all required quality-of-service measurements across all roads leading to the museum, as well as the routes connecting airports to the museum, in addition to the Giza Pyramids area and the museum grounds. Moreover, the NTRA oversaw the installation of multiple antennas and mobile base stations to ensure the provision of high-quality telecom services, offering the highest levels of coverage for visitors and delegations arriving from around the world.
