In its continuous efforts to enhance the quality of telecommunications services for users, the NTRA’s National Center for Telecommunications Quality Monitoring has issued its Q4 2024 report (October–December 2024) on mobile network performance.
The measurement methodology is based on testing samples of voice calls and data services to evaluate the quality provided by operators in Egypt, using specialized measurement vehicles and equipment. During Q4 2024, measurements covered 139,000 km across main and secondary roads in cities and villages. Voice quality measurement was updated to include VoLTE technology, reflecting the latest innovations that improve the user experience.
