 10 September 2025

As part of supporting the State’s strategy to achieve financial inclusion, the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) continues to coordinate closely with telecom service providers to foster a digital payments environment and establish regulatory frameworks governing mobile wallet services. These efforts contribute to expanding the use of electronic payment methods and accelerating the transition from a cash-based society to a cashless one.

In line with its commitment to raising consumer awareness about digital payment tools, NTRA has issued its Q2 2025 report (covering the period from April to June 2025) on the usage indicators of mobile wallets offered by telecom operators.
