The protocol was signed by Eng. Mohamed Shamroukh, Chief Executive Officer of the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, and Dr. Eman Karim, General Supervisor of the National Council for Persons with Disabilities.

The agreement strengthens cooperation between both parties through the exchange of expertise and coordinated efforts to make telecommunications services accessible to persons with disabilities in line with the latest international standards. The aim is to ensure their full inclusion in the digital society.

The protocol also includes launching joint awareness campaigns and workshops, as well as establishing an effective mechanism for handling complaints related to different types of disabilities—particularly hearing and visual impairments—ensuring improved service quality and diversity in line with the Egyptian State’s vision.
