The National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA), represented by Eng. Mohamed Shamroukh, CEO of the Authority, signed a cooperation agreement in the field of cybersecurity with the Cybersecurity Council of the Government of the United Arab Emirates, represented by Dr. Mohamed Al-Kuwaiti, Chairman of the Council. The signing took place on the sidelines of the GITEX Global 2025 exhibition held in Dubai, UAE, from October 13–17.

The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation in cybersecurity, including the protection of critical infrastructure, risk management, and countering cyberattacks. This initiative aligns with the National Cybersecurity Strategy 2023–2027, which emphasizes enhancing regional, Arab, and international cooperation to address escalating cyber threats.
