Egypt, represented by the National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA), participated in the African Regional Meeting of ITU-T Study Group 3 held from 6-9 April 2021. NTRA made many contributions in topics of regional and international interest; such as online applications and Digital Financial Inclusion.

It’s worth noting that the ITU-T Study Group 3 is the ITU-subordinate commission in charge of tariff, accounting, and regulatory affairs. Furthermore, it’s considered an international unique assembly for discussing and studying the international financial and economic aspects associated with telecommunication market growth.
