NTRA held a series of awareness seminars within a week, at the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities as well as in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, in cooperation with the General Department for Executing Training Programs for the Government Sector at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
The seminars aimed to enhance digital awareness and highlight the importance of cybersecurity among ministry employees, as well as staff at Kafr El Sheikh governorate headquarters, civil society organizations, and students of Kafr El Sheikh University. It also introduced NTRA’s pivotal role in regulating the telecom market and protecting users’ rights. Additionally, NTRA initiatives to users were showcased and vital topics such as cybersecurity fundamentals, methods for protecting personal data and devices, especially mobile phones, preventing cyber threats, as well as concepts of digital transformation and the benefits of available digital services were discussed.
This comes within NTRA’s campaign: “Know Your Rights and Services, Protect Your Device and Data,” and in line with its ongoing efforts to promote digital literacy among members of the State’s administrative apparatus and all society segments. The campaign also aims to support the State’s efforts to achieve digital transformation and build a secure knowledge-based community.
