NTRA opens its branch in Hurghada to reinforce service quality for users
 21 December 2025

Lieutenant General Mohamed El-Reidy, NTRA’s Deputy- Executive President for Financial and Administrative Affairs, and Dr. Hossam Abdel‑Mawla, NTRA’s Deputy-Executive President for Technical Affairs and Quality, inaugurated NTRA’s new branch in the city of Hurghada in a soft opening. This comes as part of NTRA’s strategy aimed at geographic expansion and reinforcing its presence across various governorates, in a way that contributes to improving the level of services provided to users and ensuring rapid response to the complaints and inquiries of telecom service users.

The opening of Hurghada branch comes within NTRA’s plan to support the Red Sea cities and tourist areas, and to make it easier for citizens and visitors to access NTRA’s various services. These services include receiving complaints from telecom service users, monitoring the quality of services provided by telecom companies, and offering technical and advisory support related to users’ rights.

The soft opening of the NTRA’s branch in Hurghada also adds to its already established network of branches in several governorates across Egypt, including Cairo, Giza, Ismailia, and Alexandria, as well as its branches in Delta governorates and Assiut. This actually reflects NTRA’s commitment to strengthening its geographic presence and making its services more accessible to all citizens throughout the country.

Furthermore, a number of coordination meetings were held with executive and security leaders in Hurghada on the inauguration’s sidelines, as part of joint coordination and follow‑up on workflow. The meetings also focused on the cooperation mechanisms to ensure consistent delivery of services and achievement of the highest levels of efficiency, in a way that supports NTRA’s efforts in carrying out its regulatory and monitoring duties in the governorate.

NTRA also affirmed that the branch’s soft opening aims to assess the efficiency of the services provided and to gauge the users’ needs in preparation for full operation. This ensures the delivery of high‑quality services that meet the highest standards and align with the State’s vision for digital transformation and the improvement of government services.

Moreover, NTRA noted that the opening of this branch reflects its seamless commitment to strengthening direct communication with users across the various governorates, supporting the State’s efforts to achieve digital inclusion, and ensuring that all users receive safe, high‑quality telecom services.

It’s worth noting that NTRA continues to implement its expansion plan to open more branches and service centers in the coming period, reinforcing the protection of telecom users’ rights and boosting telecom field in Egypt.
