Regulatory instructions were issued by The National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority “NTRA” obligating the mobile operators working in the Egyptian market, to notify users upon credit re-charging, through pre-paid cards or any other methods, with any deductions or payables to be applied, such as; taxes, entertainment services and “Lending” services etc, if any. This procedure will take place via sending SMS to users upon re-charging. It is worth noting that such a step comes within a series of decisions made by NTRA in the frame of preserving the telecommunication user rights.
