In accordance with the Government’s recent decrees to reduce the possible consequences of COVID-19, The National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) addressed the telecom operators working in Egypt’s market to urgently motivate their staff to take COVID-19 Vaccine; especially branch and service center-employees who are in direct contact with users. Furthermore, NTRA instructed telecom operators to apply the entire precautionary measures approved by the Ministry of Health and Population-Egypt, while providing all kinds of services at their affiliated branches and service centers. It is worth mentioning that such a step comes in the frame of NTRA’s keenness on fostering the Government’s plan which aims to reduce the possible consequences of COVID 19 as well as ensuring the safety of telecom users while visiting the branches and service centers of operators.
