The National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Egypt (NTRA) concluded the academic year of its programs and initiatives directed at university and higher technological institute students. Spanning nearly 10 months, these efforts aimed to develop youth skills, support scientific research and innovation, and bridge academic education with the needs of labor market.

Key initiatives included a summer training program with around 100 students engaged in hands‑on training across diverse fields such as cybersecurity, 5G networks, spectrum management, data analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), device governance, and quality assurance. Initiatives also entailed a graduation project competition, featuring more than 60 projects from universities and educational institutions nationwide, tackling vital sectors including transportation, healthcare, education, telecommunications, and network management. Furthermore, the initiatives aimed to support academic conferences and events, backing scientific and academic activities organized by Egypt’s universities to foster knowledge exchange and strengthen collaboration among students, researchers, and professionals.

These initiatives reflect NTRA’s commitment to preparing qualified national talent, encouraging innovation and scientific research, and empowering youth to keep pace with technological advancements. They also reinforce the link between academic knowledge and practical applications, aligning education with industry demands and labor market needs.
