Dr. MOHAMED RASLAN

MOHAMED RASLAN received his B.Sc. (in Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering) and M.Sc. (in Computers and Systems Engineering) from Cairo University and Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, respectively. He received a scholarship to pursue a Diploma in Information Technology (Computer Networks) from the Information Technology Institute (ITI) of the Egyptian Cabinet.

Dr. Raslan received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. During the last twenty-five years, he has worked at Cairo University, Egypt Cabinet-Information Decision Support Center (IDSC), Egyptian German Telecommunication Industries (EGTI) Company, Telecomm Egypt Data (TE Data), the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), Concordia University in Canada, ERI, and the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Egypt (NTRA). His main research interests are the analysis and design of secure and private electronic communication protocols. Currently, he leads the Penetration Testing Division at the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) in Egypt.
