Eng. Abdelhamid Huissen

Mr. Abd Elhamid Huissen is a Senior Radio Spectrum engineer with over 7 years of telecommunication regulatory and industry experience before that Abdelhamid worked as Teaching Assistant in Zewiel University in 2014.

Mr. Huissen joined the National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA) of Egypt as Radio Spectrum Engineer since 2015 in 2020, Mr. Huissen promoted to be senior engineer of frequency international Coordination department

He is handling matters related to ITU Radio Regulations (RR), Spectrum management and satellite telecommunication technologies and international regulations issue moreover; Mr. Huissen participated in some project with the aim of enhancing Quality of services of Egyptian mobile operators. In addition, he participated in national Space project to deploy Egyptian satellite networks, including NILESAT-301 and TIBA-1 in geostationary orbit and NARSSCUBE, in the Non-Geostationary orbits.

Mr. Huissen represented Egypt as a member of the Egyptian delegation to the World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-19), and he is serving as Coordinator for several agenda items regarding satellite service issues in (WRC-23) on behalf of African telecommunication union (ATU) and Arab Spectrum Management Group (ASMG).
