Mr. Ahmed ELkaradawy

Mr. Ahmed ELkaradawy is a Radio Spectrum Engineer with over 11 years of telecommunication regulatory and industry experience. He is currently Manager of the Terrestrial frequency international Coordination department; He holds (MSc.) degree in electronic and information technology engineering. With experience in different disciplines including Radio Spectrum management, terrestrial telecommunication technologies, and international Radio Regulations (RR).

Mr. ELkaradawy is highly experienced in telecommunications business development, procedures; negotiation, and coordination agreements to provide protection for Egyptian terrestrial networks including Fixed, Mobile, and Broadcasting Services. He is also responsible for registering and notifying the terrestrial networks in the ITU Master International Frequency Register (MIFR).

In addition, he is managing the technical international coordination tasks of FM service (GE84 optimization) and Digital Sound Broadcasting (DSB) and the Transition to Digital TV in Egypt.

On the African level, Mr. ELkaradawy has participated in many African activities and groups related to radio spectrum, and he has elected as a Vice chairman of the African task group which was responsible for developing “a STRATEGY OF INTRODUCTION DIGITAL SOUND BROADCASTING IN AFRICA”. He also participated actively in the African task Group on Emerging Technologies.

He represented Egypt as a member of the Egyptian delegation to the World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-19), and he is serving as ASMG coordinator of the AI 1.3 (WRC-23).
