Mrs. Nahed Hashesh has an excellent record at the international level and extensive experience at the national level. Through her career, she has represented the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) in many national and international committees, in the field of maritime telecommunications, and she is currently the Maritime Telecom Services manager in the NTRA , and a member of the National Search and Rescue committee . Nahed Hashesh has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunication/ICT sector, 17 years of them in the field of maritime telecommunication, In addition, at 2016; she had a Master degree of Business Administration (MBA) from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport in the field of “Risk Management”.

She has worked in coordination with reputable governmental agencies, including the Egyptian Authority for Maritime Safety, Egyptian Search and Rescue Centre (ESARC), Egyptian Maritime Transport Sector and Telecom Egypt to fulfil the country obligations according to IMO mandatory audit scheme.

She has been representing the NTRA at the International Maritime Organization IMO and the International Mobile Satellite Organization IMSO headquartered in London. Mrs. Nahed Hashesh is the NTRA official focal point with Inmarsat Company in London  to operate Inmarsat equipment for ships, aircraft, drilling rigs flying the Egyptian flag, further , she acts as an official  national data provider with Cospas-Sarsat for the EPIRB terminals on board of vessels flying the Egyptian flag .
